NOTICE

Bangladesh is the member of ‘B’ of international navy organization (IMO), which is a honorable position for the Bangladesh. As a member country there is a responsibility to make sure ship building and ship transportation as well as there is a mandatory according to the different conventions. There are environmental convention MAROL and security convention SOLAS, two very important conventions IMO, where Bangladesh is contracted country. According to the above two convention it is mandatory for the ministry to make sure ship building and ship transportation. It has been ordered to the related all to follow the regulations bellow for registration and transportation, building tanker depending on damaged navy environment and worldwide environmental awareness:-

1. Class has to be done to build newly according to the MSO, 83 transporting tanker ships in coastal area. Important engine appliances of machinery and equipment, approved class machinery should be certified from equipment preparation organization factory.
2. There has to be a double bottom and double helm construction for two skin or the far between two dimension at least 600 ton (DWT) for tank .76 miter, for 100 miter tank 1.0 miter, for 1500 miter tank 1.2 miter, or for class tank there must follow MAROL regulation of 19 and 21 and every ships before kill laying has to submit to office.
3. For insuring overall security of the ship-

Electrical drawing, paralleling of generators, Intrinsically safe circuits, Emergency power supply, Steering arrangement, Shore reception facilities, Engine room lines, fire fighting arrangement& fire main & Emergency fire fighting equipment, Anchoring& mooring arrangement (Explosion proof) classification society (class) will examine and examined seal will be provided, Electrical fittings, cabling, conduit& switching gear type rated must be examined in class and examined seal will be provided.

4. Newly built tank in old engine, equipments, pump, unsafe (certificate less from factory) electrical equipment, etc has not to be used.
