1320 Megawatt Heated Electricity Center Is Constructed In Kalapara By The Joint Initiative of RPCL- Narinko International Power Limited

1320 megawatt coal based second heat electricity project work has started in Londa mouza situated in Dhankhali in Kalpara upazilla Patuakhali. The work to construct electricity plant by the initiative of Bangladesh Palli Biddutayon Board subsidery organizations Rural Power Company Limited and (RPCL)- Narika International Power Limited (RNPL). Regarding the continued development activities of this new electricity center on dated 5^th October, Friday after the evening by that organization an opinion exchange meeting was hold with the local press workers in Kalapara Press Club Conference Room.

Executive engineer Md. Iqubal Karim of the organization in the meeting has informed that, there has been taken initiative to acquire 915 acre land in Dhankhali union Londa, Dhankhali and Nishanbaria mouza. 184 acre acquired land has already been made understood to the dated today by the Patuakhali district administration. More 100 acre land is in preparation to make understood. In that electricity center for the people who loss in 25 acre land modern village will be constructed. Five room homes will be constructed who are in loss. 350 people who loss will be given one home for everyone as well as veranda and kitchen room will be in the home. 35 lakhs taka will be spent to construct every home. Within the next year in between March- April the homes will be transferred. In addition, in the project community center, mosque, school, stores and play ground will constructed in there. For the commute 30 feet and 12 feet width road will be constructed there. He has informed also, three paisa will be kept from the income of every electricity unit. For the development of project area the money will be spent. Electricity center will be constructed in the system of ultra super metric ton. Environment will not be impacted negatively of its any ashes. Because 275 meter height tower will be constructed there. Moreover ash pond will be constructed. 99 percent fly ash will be controlled through fly ash boiler tube. After the purification of the ashes those will be preserved in a particular place. The ash will be used for making cement in the cement factory. So the ash cannot go outside, the control system will be constructed there. In addition specific heat measured water will be cold through affluent treatment plant.

Journalist Talukdar Rumi of RPCL- Nariko International Power Limited Press Consultant and Bangladesh Palli Biddutaon Board Press Consultant has informed that, coal will be imported from Indonesia, Australia and South Africa for electricity center. This is a governmental organization jointly owned by the Bangladesh and China government. The most advanced technology of the world will used in the center. Within the next December, 2022 the ultra super critical technology electricity center will be started production. The produced electricity will be supplied in the national connection line.
