Marriage is a civil contract as per
Muslim Laws. One party proposes for marriage and another party accepts propose.
But both of the parties have to fill up terms and conditions lawfully.
Terms:
Age and qualification: In case of age
for marriage bridegroom has to have at least 21 years old and age of the bride
has to have at least 18 years old.

No contract is for marriage as per Hindu
law but a religious culture and holy relationship in between male and female.

Paishach marriage, in case of Hindu marriage age is controlled as per amended
section 1938 of children marriage control law, 1929. In this law the age of
bridegroom is 21 years and the age of bride is 18 years old.
Marriage in Christian community in
Bangladesh is accomplished as per Christian marriage act, 1972. As per section
1055 of Canon law marriage is told a religious program and holy contract. A
family relationship is in between a man and woman for whole life. As per
section 1056 there is told the main feature of marriage is unity and undivided.
Marriage has to be accomplished in written as per Marriage Act, 1972 and must
be registered. The qualification of marriage in Christian bridegroom has to be
16 years old and bride has to be 14 years old.
In Christian religion child marriage
is completely prohibited.

As per Hindu marriage law, 1955 there
has the rules of registration in Hindu marriage.
Divorce can be happened through
presentation in court for the reason of legal and specific causes any parties
from husband and wife after having been passed Hindu marriage law, 1955. The
culture that has been created in Indian Hindu mariage regulation, 1955 there is
seen that, there is needed agreement of bride and bridegroom in case of
marriage contract. Hindu marriage is not a contract but a religious
culture.
