matter, I am directed to inform you that on the basis of inclusion of
additional machineries along with the machineries as mentioned in the
Registration letter issued on 30-01-2001 by Board of Investment in favour of
the industry and addition of list appendix B’ instead of knitting section list
‘A’ in the list of Machineries and approving charge of names of two of the
enter Premiers on the basis of approval by the Registrar of Joint Stock
Companies, Para Nos. 3,6,8 and 9 of the above mentioned letters are amended as
under and recorded in this Board:

(a) The
Enterpreneur/Enterpreneurs may contact service centre of Board of Investment
(b) The Industrial
projects may get different types of custom /tax rebates under industrial
financial policy of the Govt. and Notification issued from time to time by
Board of Investment and other Govt. authorities/ Autonomous bodies
concerned. Copeis of polices and
Notifications in this regard can be collected from the service centre of Board
of Investment.
(c) The
Enterpreneur/Enterpreneurs are to centact directorate of Enviroment before
finalising the site/location of the project.
(d) Board of
Investment can cancel registration of the industrial project tailing any one or
more out of the following terms and conditions:
Terms and conditions:
(1) Board of
Investment is to be informed the change of ownership or location of the
Industrical project instantly
(2) If any
Industrial project fails to complete the project within the time-limit
precribed in the Registration letter, the Enterpreneur/Enterprenurs are to
submit application to Board of Investment for renews of registration letter,
after expriy of the scheduled time. limit.
(3) Industrial
products under compulsory certificate marks are to be upto the standard
specified by Bangladesh stardard & Testing Institution (BSTI) and Clearance
from BSTI is to be obtained before marketing the production.
(4) Before
installation any Industrial project, clearance is to be obtained under the
current Enviroment Act from the Directorate of Environment.
(5) Capital
Machinary, spare parts and raw materials/packing materials are to be imported
under the current import Policy of the Government.
(6) Every after
6(Six) months till the Industrial project goes on production, progess report of
inplementation of project is to be submitted to the Director (Registration
& Support Divisin-2) in the way specified in the attached proforma. After
the industrial project goes on commercial production, yearly report of
production and Employment, status of the project is to be submitted to the
director (Plans & Policies)
(7) The project is
be implement by July 2001.
(8) Additional
terms and conditions are given in appendix A’ attached.

Appendix-A’
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
(a) Products are to be exported one
hundred per cent (In case of 100% export-oriented industry).
(b) To prevent accident security
measures are to be taken as per current factory Act of the land.
(c) Before the project goes on
production, necessary clearance certificate is to the obtained from the
directorate of Enviroment.
(d) The project is to be implemented
within the time limit mentioned in the application.
(e) The products are to be upto the
reguired standared of BSTI and necessary clearance certificate is to be
obtained from BSTI.
(f) Every after 3(Three) months
before the project goes on production, quartery report the project is to be
sabmitted to the director-R&S-1/2 according to the proforma attached.
(g) Raw materials, Machinery and
spare parts are to be imported as per current Import Policy and Orders.
(h) After the Industrial project
goes on commercial production yearly report of production and Employment status
of the project is to be submitted.
(j) Prior permission of Board of
Investment is to be obtained if necessity arises for change of owner or
location of the industrial project.
(k) Regarding arrangement of land
for the proposed project, Board of investment will have no involvement.
(l) In the organisations, facility
for day-care is to be thire.
(m) Facility for leave during
maternity is to be thire.
(n) Facility should be provided for
low-cost secured residence nearby the organization for the low-paid female
exployees.
(p) To establish equal status of
female workers within the organisation, equity is to be maintained in respect
of wages and other allowances.
(q) Facility for low-cost canteen is
to be provided.
(r) Effective code of conduct is to
be made to grow peaceful and proper working atmosphere between the male and
female workers.
(s) The Registration letter will be
cancelled, due to failure of fulfillment of any of the abovementioned terms and
conditions.
