CIVICS : First Paper

1.         The meaning & the extension of civics: The necessity of the study of civics. The relations of civics with sociology, economics, history & logic. 

2.         The based Conception : Environment, Family, Society, united nation and communities.

3.         The Social Evolution : The technological and industrial change, the advancement of science and the expansion of education, the influence of social change on values, Social values, Social justice, the sence of discipline, tolerance, the dignity of labour, sympathy, the rule of law etc. related values with their necessity & importance.  

4.         The State : The components of the state (different doctrine on the origin of the state). The state & the government, Regarding the state & other institutions (the functions welfare, trust of the state).

5.         The state & the individual, law, freedom & equality.

6.         Nationality : Citizen, The qualities of a good citizen, the obstructions on the way of achieving the qualities of a good citizen & the reminders, process of achieving the nationality, the policy of receiving the nationality, the right & the duty of a citizen.

7.         The constitution : Definition, written & unwritten constitution, easy changeable & hardly changeable constitution. Their merits demerits.
 
8.         The government : The classification of the government democracy, autocracy, parliamentarian, presidential ruling system, one centered & federal form of system.

9.         The organs of the government : Administrative division, Legislative council/assembly & law & justice division. The policy of the decentralization of power.

10.       The election & the electorate, political party, the public opinion.

11.       The United Nations : Its objective & different branches, Bangladesh & the united nations.

Distribution of Marks :
1.         Out of the given 10 general questions any
            five will be required to answered.                                        15X5= 75 Marks

2.         Out of the given 10 short questions any
            five will be required to answered.                                        5X5=25
