AFFIDAVIT

I, MD. KHORSHED ALAM, date of birth : 05/01/1979 AD, son of Abu Taher, mother – Hazera Begum, Address : 49, Toyenbee Circular Road, Hathkhola, Tikatuli, Dhaka, Permament Address : Villagee – Sarkamta, P.O. Sarkamta, P.S. Sonaimuri, Dist. Noakhali, Bangladesh, Religion – Islam, Nationality – Bangladeshi, do hereby solemnly affirm and declare that :-

01.  That I am a permanent citizen and resident of Bangladesh.

02.  That Mohammad Manik, son of Nazir Miah, mother – Sayedur Nesa, Vill. Sarkamta, P.O. Sarkamta, P.S. Sonaimuri, Dist. Noakhali, Bangladesh. He is my friend and I do know him in Politically. According to my knowledge, Mohammad Manik would maintained his responsibility of the Bangladesh Nationalist Youth Party as a Broadcasting Secretary of the Sonaimuri Police Station in the year 2001 and the Broadcasting Secretary of the 9 No. Deoty Union in the year 2000 and 3 No. Ward in the year 1998. His Political activities were good. As he would political exercise, as such there was lodged case in against of hum. Due to the cause of case for him, he could not stay in the countryside and as such, he was absconded to me from the period of December 2006 to February 2007. I do live permanently in Dhaka and do a business. In this situation, on behalf of him, it will be come not to a good  to stay in the native country and as such I have delivered an advice to him for to stay in  abroad.

On the dated 20^th September of the year 2001, there was arranged a discussion meeting of the Bangladesh Nationalist Youth Party at Sonaimuri and at the end of the discussion meeting, there was started a Rally with the leadership of Manik and after advanced for same distance and suddenly one of the Rally of Awami League was came in face to face and was made suddenly an attack upon us. For the purpose of saving life, we were all started running to and fro and Manik was got alone and after getting him, they were beaten Manik with their sticks and were made stroke with sharp knife under the hill of his right leg and as such Manik was got sense less and was laid down on the road. I was taken him to the Upazila Health Complex in a sense less condition. There was done of his treatment here for a period of long and after of it, he was came round in a level. I identify for not to save of him staying in the country.
