Sample Power of Attorney


GENERAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

Know all men by these presents:

That we, Mrs. Khodeza Akter, age about 25 years, wife of deceased Hazrat Ali, the 2 minor children one being a daughter named HENA AKTER, age about 4 (four) years and the other a son named RAMJAN ALI, age about 2 (two) years of the deceased Hazrat Ali, (the Executant Sl. No. 2 & 3 being minors, are represent by their mother and the natural guardian, the Executant Sl. No. 1), all of us have been residing at Village - Hilora, P.O. Thal Para, Union Parishad- Mohera, P.S. Mirzapur, Dist. Tangail, Bangladesh, do hereby declare that Late Hazrat Ali, holder of Bangladesh Passport No. L - 0892605, an employee of M/S. Zahran Oper. & Maint Co. P.O. Box No. 7653, Riyadh - 11472, Phone: 01-4608393 was working in Saudi Arabia until 08/10/1999 and died there on 08/10/1999 due to a Traffic Accident. That we the above named legal heirs of the deceased Hazrat Ali, S/o. Late Naim Uddin being unable to go to Saudi Arabia in order to claim of death compensation money and other dues because as a helpless widow with minor children, so, at before we have executed a General Power of Attorney Vide No. 04, Dated - 13/01/2001 in favour of  Mr. Abdullah Saleh Al Garrawi, the Manager of M/S. Zahran Oper. & Maint Co. Riyadh, K. S. A, now we have cancelled the previous General Power of Attorney by this General Power of Attorney and we further newly hereby nominate, constitute and appoint Honourable Consular General, Embassy of Bangladesh, Jeddah, K. S. A  to receive the compensation ant other dues as our true & lawful "Attorney" in our names and on our behalf to execute or do all or any of the acts, deeds or things hereinafter mentioned, as follows:

I.       To act, deal and manage with death compensation money, salaries, service benefits, insurance benefits, and other dues, if any, in respect of the deceased Hazrat Ali and to make necessary arrangement to remit the same to Bangladesh in favour of deceased's wife Mrs. Khodeza Akter, with Bank Account No. S. B. A/C. 10883, Sonali Bank, Mirzapur Branch, Tangail, Bangladesh.

2.       To lay claim, file suit, cases, engage Lawyer/Advocates to conduct the suits/cases whatsoever before any court of  Saudi Arabia or courts for us and on our behalf.                                                                        Contd. P/2.

3.       To appear before all lawful authority or authorities, Govt. Semi- Government, corporation of any other organizations and defend or represent them for accomplishing the aims and objects referred thereon for us and on our behalf.

4.       To sign all papers and documents whenever and whatever on our behalf that might be necessary for receiving payments of the compensation.


5.       All to receive all the incidental expenses relating to the receipt of the deceased dead body in the Airport and thereafter its carrying and funeral and burial purposes already being borne by the deceased's wife Mrs. Khodeza Akter and to remit the said dues to the decease's wife's  above mentioned Bank Account, being it has already been authorized in favour of the deceased's wife by the relatives of the deceased.

6.       And generally to do, execute and perform all other to do, execute and perform all other necessary for conducting the aforesaid matter, as fully and effectually in all respects as we ourselves could do the same if we were personally present.

And we hereby agree and undertake to ratify and confirm all and whatsoever legally constituted "Attorney" shall lawfully do or purport to do by virtue of this General Power of Attorney.
