PERSONAL STATEMENT OF MD. ZAHIRUL ISLAM

I am the undersigned Kaari MD. ZAHIRUL ISLAM, son of late Md. Habibur Rahman, mother – late Kabira Khatun, Religion – Islam, Community – Kadiani, House No. G-9, Block-E, Zakir Hossain Road, Mohammadpur, Dhaka-1207. I was born by this address on the 20^th October, 1974 in this address.

I was passed the Secondary School Certificate Examination in the First Division from the Mymensingh Trishal Secondary School in the year 1992. I was passed the Higher Secondary Education from the Mymensingh Trishal College in the year 1994 and passed the B.A. Examination from Dhaka College in the year 1996. 

During the period of my College life,  I was engaged with the Student Politics in which organization named Workers Party. In this organization, there is none of demarcation about any religion, caste or group or does not follow the same. There is some other students organization in the college, those are Chatra League, Chatra Daal, Chatra Somaj, Chatra Shibir of which are more strong and influence able than us. Those organizations would always keep us in different type of pressure. Yet this, I would involved me in the development works through the party. They would do of their endeavor provided influence in side of these organizations   to make out from the college. I would do protest for the dis-work of the then Govt. influenced Chatra League Organization in all the times and as such, I was came to the prey of their attack.  During the period of reading in the Dhaka College, 8 to 10 numbers of youth were took me to a hidden place of the college and were tied me of my hand and leg and were beaten me and made me blood wound. I was admitted in the hospital for a period of long. My family were took step to lodge a case, but the Policemen were refused to take of the case. For which cause, my family was demanded a judgment to the College Authority being a helpless condition. There was not taken any kind of step about the activities of these organizations by the College Authority. So, I was taken to end of my education with much trouble and as such, I did not able to no more proceed about my education.

I was started of my service life in an NGO at Dhaka named SEPOB  in the year 1997.  This NGO would make assistance after providing loan to the poor and helpless peoples as serve base organization.  I was mainly joined to this organization considering as a serve base organization and was served in this SEPOB organization and during this period the students of the Chatra League were beaten me after went there. They were also wanted subscription money to this serve base organization like the SEPOB. I was then protested in against of the injustice.

In this situation, my Managing Director Mr. Shamim Ahmed was compelled to make me terminate from the service. I was took of my decision for to do a business and for this purpose, I was selected some of the place by the side of my house and was started there of my business. In the year 2004, I was opened a Computer Center named Islam Computer and was started the computer business. I would sale there about electronic equipments, computer parts, mobile set etc. and in a certain period, I was started to import those from the foreign country. The B.N.P. Govt. controlled Chatra Daal and Chatra Shibir were took step to stop of my business. As the workers party was in the role of anti-Govt. and as such, there were increased more of their torturing. There were lodged false cases to the base of making me harassment. The then Officer in Charge of the police station was came to my business organization and was took me to the Police Station without any warrant in against me and made me an inhumane torturing.

The then period, those who were in the Govt., at that time, there were happened for some of the dis-pleasant occurring, such as bomb blasting. At that period, there were lodged many cases in against me to the base about harassment me. Due to the cause of the influence able persons of the then Govt,, we would be stay in other place after leave of our house at night. Peoples of the then Govt. influenced organization would increased about the range of their torturing me as becoming a Kadiani. At that period, there was made a huge endeavor to the declaration non-Muslim to the Kadianies. I was again came to a prey of their attack in the year 2006. There was shown me different type of threatening as I do leave of my business place and to be compelled to go other place after leaving of my house-home. But they were not able to create of their will with me and at last they were attacked me with some of hired musclemen and were broke down of my shop. For which cause, I was admitted to the hospital about 10(ten) days for my treatment and there was made a monetary loss with this occurrence. I was tried to lodge a case in against to them. As the Police Station did not take of my case and as such, I was compelled to lodge a case in the Court.

At present, the power-in Care Taker Govt. has been started of the old cases in against me to make me harassment with a new step. Although this is not a legal Govt. Any of the Care Taker Govt. does get validity for an interim Govt. for about the period of three months. But this Govt. has been achieved for the support of the Army and has been taking their step to make of the hardship power through a laughter election at the end of the next year. To this view, they have made the leaders in the jail custody of different organizations through lodged of false cases in against to them. This matter is clear on today to whole of the world. This Govt. has been made rise up of the old cases and has been lodged of new cases for to make hardship of its power. In this situation, there is not possible to stay in the country on behalf of me. If any body be wants to show this kind of courage, there will be come to this person about jail, oppression, torturing for a daily life accompany. It is not also a surprising matter of the death to this person.
