Subject: Application to protect the illegality in appointing drivers and in project of Election Commission Gi (S E M B).

Sir,

It is informing with duly respect to you that, a notice of appointment has been published last 3^rd May 2011 by Daily Prothom Alo, We are three persons of contracted I. C job holders, submitted our application and faced written, viva and practical examination. After the few days of examination I understood that driver of project operator Nazrul Islam Panna told us that he made very bad in the examination and he also acknowledged in interview board that he do not English well and he also can not speak, read and write in English. This driver even has no international or national experience of doing job coming through Smart Services Ltd. Because of some corrupted officers to gain personal favor It is also trying that after completion of I. C contract to appoint him again illegali. I have never ever hoped that types of corruption as the organization like as UNDP. I think it is violation of human right. Why we have not kept in service contract having been experience of job for more than 10 to 12 years? Why the interview board is for? Why the written, viva and practical examination has been taken? Having been involved in job with project officer, there was an appointment of an unskillful driver why? This is the opposite of human right. It is mentioned that last 19^th November 2012 the contract has been finished of our three I. C. drivers. Making our twos out, only the driver of project director kept continued without any re- contract and trying is made to appoint them by service contract. We know that UNDP is always trying to save human rights, we are requesting to UNDP in UNDP in HR section over the matter and to take appropriate action. Otherwise, we will be obliged to go to the mass media, ILO and UNDP Asia regional office of Geneva, Delhi.

Overall, we think, this appointment irregularity is made without your known. So that we hope you will examine the truth of this appointment and you take the appropriate action.
